WORLD 🌍 AIDS DAY:

Today 1 December is a world AIDS DAY. TODAY I TOLD YOU ABOUT ALL DETAILS OF AIDS SO READ CAREFULLY

AIDS-  ACQUIRED IMMUNO DEFICIENCY VIRUS

 INTRODUCTION :

AIDS is a deadly disease caused by HIV. The immune system is completely damaged in this disease, so that any common disease is not easily cured and the patient must die. When infected with this virus, it stays in the healthy body and the virus stays in the infected state for a long time.  The carrier spreads the disease throughout the person's life.

CAUSATIVE ORGANISM:

HIV, a type of retrovirus called human immunodeficiency virus.

INCUBATION PERIOD:

Two to three years or even ten years

STRUCTURE OF HIV VIRUS:

1.The HIV virus is usually round.

2.Thee volume is 90 to 120 nm.

3.The center contains 2 RNA and reverse transcriptase enzymes. Thee nucleic acid of the virus surrounds what is called nucleic acid.

4 The inner layer is made up of proteins and the outer layer is made up of lipoproteins.

5.Glycoproteins are formed on the outside of the spike.

MODE OF TRANSMISSION:

1.Unprotected sex.

2.Transfusion of infected patient or HIV positive blood transfusion.

3.Transmission from mother to child.

4.Usee of infected blade razor.

5.Artificial insemination.

6.Transplantation of infectious disease without examination.

7.Transmission of the disease from homosexual and bisexual people.

8.The disease spreads easily from drug users.

MODES OF INFECTION OF HIV:

HIV destroys the body's normal immune system After entering the bloodstream, HIV attacks certain types of white blood cells, T lymphocytes, and the body produces antibodies. These antibodies are also identified by blood tests three weeks to three months.

Destruction of T lymphocytes in the blood lowers the body's normal immune system. The number of lymphocytes in the blood of AIDS patients drops below 500 per millimeter. This is called lymphopenia.

HIV-infected people show no symptoms for up to five years after being infected with HIV. These HIV-infected people act as carriers. There are between four million and 1 million carriers in the United States alone.

There are four types of opportunistic infections that have been found to cause infections in the body due to the loss of the body's normal immune system.

OPPORTUNISTIC INFECTION:

1.Pneumocytosis carini pneumonia is a disease that is very serious.

2.Meningitis, encephalitis, cerebral lymphoma, etc. are diseases.

3.Fever Weight-loss weakness is observed as a common symptom.

TUMOURS:

The second major feature of AIDS is that tumor formation is in most cases a capsular sarcoma of a certain size. Lymphoma is widespread throughout the body of AIDS patients.

DIAGNOSIS OF AIDS:

ELISA antibody testing can confirm HIV infection.

PREVENTION OF AIDS:

1.VACCINE: Scientists from around the world have been working hard to find a vaccine for the AIDS vaccine, but they have not yet succeeded.

2.DRUG: Here are some drugs to control AIDS-  ZIDOVUDINEN(ZDV,AZT) ,LAMIVUDINE,DIDANOSINE,ZALCITABINE,STAVUDINE.

SYMPTOMS:

1.Swelling of the lymph glands.

2.Sweating hands.

3.Gradually gaining weight.

4.Repeated diarrhea.

5.Coughing for a long time.

6.Number of molecules and bleeding.  Persistent fever.

7.loss of memory in the brain.

 8.skin cancer.

PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF DISEASE:

1.Use a condom during sexual intercourse.

2.Get tested for HIV before blood transfusions.

3.Infectious disease blades, do not use needles.
